Developed into one of three specialized seafood & fisheries EXPO in Asia Largest EXPO event Ministers and vice ministers and delegations sent from foreign countries, improved global positioning Overseas’ National Pavilions increased from 13 → 15   Fisheries-related government representatives including Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy, Senegal, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Chairman of Japanese Fisheries Association participated. Various fisheries-related academic conferences and other events were held together, making this EXPO the largest festival with industries, academic institutions, government officials, private organizations and other people engaged in fisheries industry participating. National conference of Korea Association of Self-imposed Control Fisheries : 500 people participated.   Fishery Sciences Association of Korea : Largest international Fishery Sciences Association in the country : 500 people participated.
